FAQs
Dir: Everett Lewis, USA, 2005, Beta SP, 90 mins
Grab onto your double scoop and dig deep into your popcorn. This quick-paced queer revenge flick will have you salivating as the shirts come off and the guys get down and dirty. India (a name he’s given himself because it sounds cool) is trying to survive the rough streets of Los Angeles. Tossed out, beaten, exploited by pornographers, he soon crosses paths with Destiny, a gun-toting vigilante drag queen. Destiny is proud and sexy and teaches India to be the same. India soon takes on any straights that hurt him, brandishing a gun and a sharp wit. But he can’t stop asking himself some questions. Most importantly, is all this violence worth it when he keeps taking home so many cute boys? One of these boys might even be ‘the one’ if India can convince him that kisses are louder than bombs. Anything can happen, and in
FAQs everything does happen in a very short space of time (climaxing with our queer musketeers freeing themselves from the homophobic bonds of an oppressive society) but with a lot of sexy fun along the way.
