All Around The World Kahunya grew up on a mission station in Kenya where his father is a Bishop. Ana Claudia was a famous sportscaster for a national television station in Brazil. Arslan was born into a religious "noble family" in a Pakistani religious capital. All three have lived with a dangerous secret, which, if discovered, could have destroyed their lives: they are homosexual. This Way Out is a highly personal documentary about the daily vulnerability that lesbians and gays continue to face in most parts of the world and their need for a safe haven. Told entirely in their own words, the film recounts the compelling experiences of three individuals who fled persecution based on their sexual orientation to claim refugee status in the US.

Shot in Costa Rica, Hawaii, Hong Kong and New Zealand Reflections gives an intimate and complex portrayal of 12 lesbians who represent a diversity of cultures and backgrounds. Their testimonials cover a wide range of subjects such as social pressures, stereotypes, motherhood and the death of a lover. Through the prism of a sexual minority the film raises the question of the influence of the environment on individuals.
