WHAT GROWN UPS KNOW
Scotland is All Over Brazil in the 1974 World Cup, but 13-year-old Stephen prefers Glam Rock to football. When an orthodox Mormon family gathers at a father’s deathbed, his openly gay son asks to be included in the Blessing. Eric visits his Grandpa’s farm in the Far West and finds a sultry farmhand to keep his interest aroused; while 5-year-old Saúl panics his mother when he wants to dress as a Little Siren for the school’s fancy dress party. Poor Girl Esther’s gay roommate wants to be the ‘father’ to her unborn child. Will she take him up on his offer? A precocious Australian teenager starts to learn What Grown Ups Know when he and his mother vie for the attentions of a lonely trailer-park manager.
