It’s 2004 and George Bush is up for re-election as US President against Democrat John Kerry. A testing time for the Log Cabin Republicans – a group of gay Republican party members who support candidates espousing such conservative policies as small government and lower taxes. But with the President making such a vocal stand against gay marriage, schisms are opened that challenge the very identity of the Log Cabin Republicans. The election and Bush’s homophobia present them with a stark choice: be good Republicans and support the President, or stand up for their civil rights as gay Americans. As the election contest heats up, so do tempers in the Log Cabin...
