Director Sébastien Lifshitz (Presque Rien) returns with a beautiful, daring film about the strong bond of love, sex and companionship that unites a trio of outsiders. Stephanie, a pre-op transgendered prostitute working the gritty streets of Paris, returns to her childhood home to care for her dying mother accompanied by her lovers Mikhail and Djamel, both sex workers. The rural landscape provokes haunting memories of her long-forgotten past in this intensely erotic portrait of love and family.
