Naomi is an aspiring filmmaker juggling two projects and three women.
Project one is filming lesbian porn, but difficulties arise when her arty
style doesn't go down with her raincoat-type straight male producers. Her
friends are happy to debate the issue over phallic food snacks, but
they're not very supportive - apart from Azusa, who signs up for Naomi's
second project, a 'reality' girl-girl TV dating show. Azusa's date is
Mika, a marketing executive by day, and a lesbian exotic dancer by night.
Azusa falls for Miki, who is trying to make moves on Naomi, who is falling
in love the new fashioned way, on the internet, pouring her heart out to
Sugar, whom she has never met.
Sugar Sweet is highly entertaining, funny and sexy. It's Desiree Lim's first feature film.
