We're back! The Reel
Queer team are delighted to be able to keep Out Takes on Dunedin's queer
calendar in 2003 with a new and larger selection of films for this year's
festival. Damien and Andrea at the Dundas St Academy Cinema are hosting Out Takes this year. We hope you'll make the most of this opportunity to enjoy these films in their friendly, intimate venue.
Reel Queer is an incorporated society run on a non-profit basis by volunteers from the queer community. The censorship difficulties experienced by other local film festivals last year have reminded us of the importance of our objects, not least of which is to bring to New Zealand screens positive and challenging images that reflect the diversity of our lives and culture. Don't forget to vote in our Audience Award competition – details at screenings! We hope you enjoy this year’s programme. The Reel Queer team ...are the Committee: Jonathan Keate, Simon Fulton, Gavin Hamilton, Kim Chamberlain, Andy Best, Tamsin Evans; and Rebecca Moldenhauer (Wellington); Brion Corbett (Christchurch); and David Herkt, Samuel Holloway, Alistair Kwun (Auckland). | ||
